NEW HOMEWARE BITS

There's been a pile of new homeware bits sat in my room so I thought I'd take this opportunity to do a mini haul and actually tidy my room for once. I'm constantly looking at new homeware bits online and am always wanting to change my room up because I get bored of it so easily and Pinterest does not help because I always see these amazing interior ideas which only aids my homeware obsession. I picked up this gold pineapple dish from H&M who constantly have beautiful homeware pieces I'm wanting to get my hands on, I might be slightly over the copper obsession and am obsessed with gold homeware bits now. Although I'll most likely be purchasing something copper again sometime soon, preferably the beautiful copper pineapple from Oliver Bonas. I'm also in love with this Roses Diptyque candle that I got for my birthday, it smells so fresh and light and just fills my room with the lovely smell of roses.
I've been trying to change up my makeup storage and I'm still not sure if I'm happy with it, I store most of my high end makeup in these Muji draws and keep my everyday makeup in a set of Ikea draws at the side of my desk. I do like this set up but as my makeup collection grows because I have no will power, it's beginning to look cluttered but I do like having everything in arms reach. If any of you have any makeup storage tips, leave a comment down below!
There are always a few dozen magazines lying around my room so now they've just had to become a part of my room, they're mostly piled up on my shelves with cute jewellery dishes and candles placed on top. I'm constantly buying magazines and I like collecting the covers and of course they make great backgrounds for instagram and blog photos so I can never have too many! Hopefully by the time this goes up I will be on my way to London, where I can get my hands on a few magazines you can't get in your average paper shop. Last time I was there I went to Charlotte Street News in Soho and Selfridges who also sell magazines from so many different countries, my favourites that I picked up were Suitcase and Oyster and old favourites like the LOVE magazine. Magazine covers also make a great edition to your wall when they're framed and there's so many amazing covers to choose from, I love looking at vintage magazine covers compared to today's covers and seeing how they've changed over the years.
Another homeware bit that my room is completely filled with is cactuses which are obviously a blogger favourite, I don't think you can be a blogger and not love cactuses or marble for that matter. I love how textured they look and it's just nice to have some greenery in my room and somehow makes my room look less cluttered. Also cactuses are much easier to keep alive which is great for me seen as I'm useless at looking after any plant and completely forget that they need watering to stay alive! I usually just get my cactuses from Ikea, mainly because it seems like I can't walk out of there without one.

I hope you liked this post and it's about time this went up, I've linked everything that's still available below and if you have any homeware bits that you love leave a comment!

WARNER BROS. HARRY POTTER STUDIO TOUR LONDON

So obviously I can't go to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour and not put a post up, I took too many photos that I can't not share them. I have already been to the studios before and this was my third time but I hadn't seen the train before so when my mum suggested we go I wasn't going to pass that offer up of course. We went up on the Wednesday morning quite early as it takes over 3 hours to get to the studios from my house in lovely Wales, but we did get there slightly early. We got there early enough to have a quick look in the gift shop first before we joined the horrendously long queue. If you haven't seen the gift shop before, let's just say it's pretty magical and you need to visit the studios purely for the gift shop!
Of course the rest of the studios are amazing as expected, and even my mum who hasn't watched the Harry Potter films and isn't a huge Harry Potter fan was still running around all excited to see how the films were made. I won't ruin it for those of you who haven't been but the first part of the tour is so exciting, I felt like such an over excited kid in my Gryffindor scarf waiting to go in. Yes that is right I wore my Gryffindor scarf that I bought the first time I went to the studios and how could I not?! I mean if I was willing to pay £80 for Ron's knitted 'R' initial jumper I'd be in that or completely kitted out in the Slytherin or Gryffindor uniform, cape and all.
My favourite part this time was definitely the train just because I'd never seen it before and it was all so magical, I didn't realise they'd actually created the whole of Platform 9 3/4! It was amazing and they even have an extra station gift shop. Just like the brooms and car there is an opportunity for photos but they do have the luggage trolleys half way through the wall where you can take your own photos. Of course there's already a miniature Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross Station in St Pancras if you can't get to the Warner Bros studios in Watford, which I have been to and of course have had a photo. They also have a gift shop where you can again buy ridiculous Harry Potter souvenirs that you don't need but convince yourself at the time that you do!
I had such a lovely day pretending to be a wizard and all, but honestly it's such an amazing place and makes a great day trip whether it's with family or friends. The only advice I would give is to book it way in advance because it's always busy and mostly fully booked. Of course before leaving I couldn't not treat myself to a few treats from the gift shop including a chocolate frog obviously. It's overwhelming how many sweets there are, it got to a point where I couldn't decide and sort of just chucked everything in my basket before realising that would be ridiculous to spend over £100 on sweets and chocolate, well according to my mother that is.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I'm now going to watch the entire Harry Potter films whilst stuffing my face with a chocolate frog, keep an eye out for a homeware post soon! If there's any posts you would like to see leave a comment down below.

AUGUST FAVOURITES

Ok so it's been a while since I've posted or written anything and it's about time I get my arse into gear and start posting regularly again! So I thought I'd start with a nice and easy monthly favourites and I'm pretty certain I worked through the whole of July so I'm assuming we're at the end of August now, and the thought of Christmas being only 4 months away is rather stressful and seriously where is this year going?! My first favourite this month are the beautiful Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Eye Set Vol.2 makeup brushes, they are just so pretty in all their rose gold goodness and look to perfect to use. But of course now I can't stop using them and now I definitely need every single Zoeva makeup brush, they're just such great quality brushes without the ridiculous price tag.
Another Zoeva product that I had to mention is the prettiest eyeshadow palette, it's the Zoeva Nude Spectrum palette that I picked up when I was in London. I didn't plan to buy this but when I saw it I couldn't leave it sitting there and looking all pretty and shiny and the fact that I have no will power when it comes to makeup did not help. I had looked at it online but I didn't think it looked that great but oh my god when I saw it in store I had to get it! It's such a beautiful palette and I love using warm shades like this and not to mention the fact that I'm in love with Zoeva's eyeshadow palettes. They're all so pretty and so pigmented, if you haven't already tried any of their eyeshadow palettes, I suggest you run and order every single one!
My next favourite is a lipstick combination, starting with the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in the shade Marvelous Mauve and then using Charlotte Tilbury Matte lipstick in the shade Very Victoria on top. This is quite a dark brown, mauve shade especially for this time of year, usually I'm obsessed with bright lip shades in summer but I've been wearing this combo all summer and think it's refreshing to see me in a darker, brown lip shade for once. Although this a great lip shade for Autumn and I'll still be wearing this combo going into the colder season which I've been looking forward to all summer. On the other hand I have been loving wearing bight nail polish again, bright, juicy colours that give the illusion that I look ever so slightly tanned. My favourite nail polish this month has been this lovely watermelon colour from Essie in the shade Chubby Cheeks.
So I was never a huge fan of fake eyelashes purely because they were a pain to get on and once they were on I always thought I looked ridiculous, but these Rosie Bea by Eylure eyelashes are so pretty I had to try them out not to mention the packaging alone forcing me to buy them. I had to mention these in my favourites because I'm obsessed with them and have stocked up on my favourites, which are Fling and Heyday. I love how fluttery these ones are and for once they don't make me look ridiculous which is always a good thing.
My last beauty favourite for August is yet again another bronzer that I couldn't help but buy, it's the YSL Sahariennes Bronzing Stones, in shade 1. This is my first YSL makeup product, and they do not disappoint! I was already in love with this because of the simple gold packing alone, but this is such a lovely warm bronzer and so natural. I like using this when I want more of a natural bronzed look and less of a heavy contour look. It's just so pretty, if anyone has any other YSL products they love and would recommend please comment down below.

I hope you like this post and comment down below what some of your favourites were this month, and fingers crossed I will be back on it with the regular posts!

JUNE FAVOURITES

So it's about time I did a monthly favourites or a post in general, it's been a busy couple of weeks and I haven't been at all organised. But this month there's a few products I can't not mention, most of the products I treated myself to when I was in London at the beginning of the month. I've been using these non-stop and they're products that have been on my wishlist for so long, so I'm so glad I treated myself to them. My first favourite this month was definitely a treat but I've been wanting one for so long, it's the Tom Ford Lip Colour Matte in the shade First Time. I mean have you ever seen such a beautiful lipstick?! This is such a lovely nude pink shade and my favourite shades to wear for everyday, I mean I obviously don't have to tell you how amazing this product is, we all know how wonderful and beautiful Tom Ford makeup products are! But I am in love with this lipstick so if any of you have any other Tom Ford products that you love and are worth the price tag please comment down below.
A new purchase and definitely a new favourite is the Nars eyeshadow duo in the shade St-Paul-Vence. I picked this up when I popped into the new Covent Garden Nars Cosmetics store, it's such a lovely store and I wasn't planning on buying anything but I had to as soon as I walked in. It's quite a small store but the layout has been planned well so that it still feels spacious and not too cramped. I walked straight over to the eyeshadows because they are all so beautiful! I love this duo, the shades are so pretty and peachy, perfect for summer and I've been wearing this duo pretty much everyday!

Another favourite that was a spur of the moment order, is the Becca x Jaclyn Hill highlighter in Champagne Pop. I've been wanting this for what seems like forever and I've had to watch everyone get it and love it and continuously rave it about it all day long, but I finally got my hands on it and it's no wonder everyone loves it! How could you not love it, it's a big beautiful rose gold highlighter that makes you glow all day long, if you've been wanting to get your hands on it but weren't sure I can definitely vouch for this product and say it's definitely worth the hype!
My last beauty favourite this month is another item I picked up in London, it's the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in the darker shade 'Bronzed'. I'm a sucker for bronzers at the moment so when I saw this I had to get it, I mean purely for the packaging alone it's just so cute and summery! And the product itself doesn't disappoint, it's a lovely warm toned bronzer and is perfect for contouring as well as giving the illusion that my face is slightly tanned and that I'm not at all pasty. This is also quite similar to the Nars Laguna Bronzer which I'm also obsessed with, so if your a fan of the Laguna Bronzer then this is definitely worth a look.

The last favourite I wanted to mention is a YouTuber, it's the beautiful SamanthaMaria! I love her channel in general and am always waiting for her next videos and I was so happy to know she was doing Vlune, I love her style and always find her videos refreshing because of her 'everything doesn't have to be perfect' attitude. It's refreshing to find YouTuber's who don't try to make out their daily, everyday lives are perfect and that they're so happy all the time, so I've really enjoyed watching her vlogs this month and if you haven't already seen her videos or subscribed you definitely need to check her channel out as well as her blog!

THE BOMBER JACKET

It's about time I did another outfit post and how could I not feature one of the prettiest jacket's I've ever owned, you all would have probably seen this type of jacket on everyone, they're everywhere at the moment and I've wanted to get my hands on one for so long! It's a beautiful black floral embroidered, satin bomber jacket from Zara, there are so many different styles of embroidered and patterned bomber jackets around at the moment, and why wouldn't there be they're such a beautiful item and piece to have in your wardrobe. They're perfect for this time of year and the transition into summer, and let's face it here in gloomy Britain we don't get much of a summer so it's a great light jacket to wear on those slightly chillier summer days.
I'm in love with this jacket and haven't taken it off since I bought it, it's been a while since I've bought a piece that I've loved this much. It just brings something new to my wardrobe and recently I've felt like I've been in a rut with my style and I'm always wearing the same thing. I definitely made the right choice in buying this and now I need another fifty bomber jackets in my life!

I've paired the bomber with one of my other recent purchases, this amazing Metallica tee from Topshop. I love wearing oversized, baggy t-shirts, they're so easy and effortless to wear never mind comfy to wear. This top is definitely oversized and slightly drowns me but when it's tucked into my Topshop black Joni jeans it looks so much better and less masculine. There's a clash between the feminine floral embroidered bomber jacket and the baggy rocker tee but that's what I love about this outfit! I love how the tee dresses down the bomber jacket and adds a slightly edgy, grungy look.
I've chosen to wear my chunky black Chelsea boots that are also from Topshop, I'm not particularly girly in the way I dress so outfits like this are my favourite, and I'm pretty much always in chunky boots although it is basically summer so it might be time to drag the sandals out from under my bed. I love these boots and think they fit in with the style of this outfit perfectly, they dress down the bomber jacket again like the Metallica tee does. You could also pair this outfit with a pair of black pointed heels if you wanted to take this outfit from day to night but it still keeps the grunginess of the outfit.
Hope you liked this post and I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been so busy with work but I am slightly more organised now and there should be some new posts up weekly!

APRIL FAVOURITES

So I kind of missed March favourites last month so I thought I'd wait until April and I've only just managed to get this up and it is a tad late but what can you do, to be honest there wasn't any new favourites last month as well and I didn't want to do a half hearted post and just talk about random products. But this month there's a few new products I've been loving and some good old favourite products so I'll jump straight in with the first one which is the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colour, I'd seen a few bloggers putting photos of these up on Instagram so long ago and I feel like I've waited years for them to come out in the UK and I finally got my hands on them. They have so many lovely shades to choose from, I picked up the shades Devotion and Passion, I did really want the nude shade but they didn't have any in stock! These are both lovely pink shades and are perfect for summer and to brighten up my everyday makeup, they apply really well and of what I've used of them, they seem to last a long time on the lips which is great if you don't get a chance to top up your makeup throughout the day. These are definitely worth a look if you're looking for some new lipsticks and they have such great shades to choose from as well!
My next favourite is a product I've spoken about a few times but I can't help but mention it, it's the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation which I picked up in the shade 3.5. I wanted to mention it again this month after using it with the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer, these are such a great match and create the perfect coverage for me. They also last pretty much all day on my face unless obviously I'm running around in the sun which in that case I'm pretty sure everyones makeup will be melting off. They cover any redness or blemishes I have, the only thing they don't do enough for me is cover my black circles under my eyes but I'm thinking that's because of how ridiculous my black circles are rather than the products. I have loved using these all month but would like to compare it to another high end foundation or concealer, so if any of you have any recommendations you know what to do.
My last beauty favourite this month is quite a new release, it's the Dior Blush in Floral Pink from their Glowing Gardens Spring collection. I have never seen such a beautiful blush, it's so pretty and I had to get my hands on it as soon as I saw it. When I say I hunted this down and ran around the place like a lunatic looking for it, I'm not over exaggerating! I went everywhere looking for it and just when I was about to give up I managed to find the last one in Debenhams and it honestly made my day! It's such a beautiful product, it's a lovely subtle matte, pink blush perfect for summer, I was avoiding using this because I didn't want to ruin it but I can't stop reaching for it, I've been using it all month and will probably continue using it for the rest of the summer!

This month my skin has been a nightmare, it's that time of year where it's starting to get slightly warmer and when that happens my skin has some sort of mental breakdown! My eczema flares up and I get really bad dry skin on my face, but thanks to some great products it's looking so much better already. My first skincare favourite is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, this is great at removing all my makeup, even my eyeliner, when I use this I know I've completely removed all my makeup. It's so much better than Bioderma, it's much more gentle on my skin and doesn't dry my skin out excessively after using it. My next skincare favourite is a bit of a random one, it's the Pure Potions Skin Salvation Intensive Moisturising Ointment, that I ordered from Amazon. I ordered this after hearing Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup rave about it and thought it was worth a try. I'm so glad I bought this, I only use this on my face and legs when my eczema fares up especially at this time of year when my skin can't cope with the change in the weather. It has made a massive change in my skin and I use this pretty much every other day to make sure my eczema doesn't flare up. If you have eczema, dry itchy skin, psoriasis or dermatitis and are looking for something new to try definitely have a look at this, it's a miracle moisturiser. I've also been loving the Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm and this is an all time favourite because I'm constantly using this and it helps my lips stay smooth and not chapped so I had to include this.
My non-beauty favourite this month has been wearing small, dainty earrings and lots of them. I have a few ear piercings and I love getting my ears pierced, at the moment I have 11 ear piercings. It seems like a lot but actually there's still room for more, but at the moment my aim is to fill them with lots of little pretty earrings. I recently bought a few pairs from & Other Stories who great for lovely jewellery pieces, they're reasonably priced and so pretty. My new favourite are these gold earrings with a drop down bit that falls behind your ear, they're gold earrings with tiny black stones and they look great paired with lots of little gold hoops. Another jewellery shop that I have been loving is a brand called Orelia who are stocked in Topshop and Asos, I love all their earrings especially these gold ad white gem drop down earrings. I just love wearing lots of dainty earrings so I'm on a mission to hunt down more for when my most recent piercings are healed, if any of you know of any brands or stores that stock similar earrings please comment down below.

I hope you liked this post and hopefully there should be another post up pretty soon!

LONDON - DAY 2

Obviously I didn't eat enough cake on the first day so I had to go back to Primrose Bakery for a breakfast cupcake, more specifically a salted caramel cupcake. If you want to see some more lovely photos of cakes and Primrose Bakery, check out my Primrose Bakery post - I will link it down below!
Of course going to London you can't not go to Oxford Street and Carnaby Street, I had to fit in some more shopping somewhere, I mean I did go to London with a bit of a large shopping list! Carnaby Street is my favourite because it's so lovely and filled with cute, quirky stores like Monki who do the most cutest lace triangle bras, not to mention they're store interior is so cool & filled with big silver, frayed, almost chandeliers. I also popped into Brandy Melville for a quick look at their jewellery, I managed to pick up an evil eye ring which has been on my want list for so long and it was only £4! Brandy Melville have the cutest, dainty jewellery and I always end up walking out of there with handfuls of earrings and rings.
Clearly being the greedy person I am, I had to have my second & third cupcake of the day from another lovely cupcake store, Crumbs & Doilies. It's a slightly more retro looking store compared to Primrose Bakery but still as equally nice to sit in and stuff your face with cake! I love how they have a different selection of cupcakes each day, this time I went for a Cookie Dough and a mini Maltesers cupcake. They also do some amazing flavoured brownies, they had a Smarties Rocky Road brownie and an amazing looking Biscoff brownie cheesecake. I could have sat there all day continuously eating cupcakes and brownies but unfortunately there's only so many cupcakes you can eat in one day!
I had to pop into the Topshop, Oxford Street store because it's amazing in there, and I may have been a bit cold apparently because the only things I bought were jumpers! I also went in & Other Stories, which is such a pretty store! Unfortunately it was towards the end of the day, I had about 100 shopping bags so I was running on fumes at this point and it was quite busy so I didn't get the chance to take any photos of their beautiful interior but fingers crossed I go back when I'm in London in April and June and I will have to do a post on their lovely store!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my visit to London and that it gave you a few ideas of what to do/visit next time your in London, if you know of any places to visit please comment down below. Fingers crossed it's not too long before I do another London post!
