WARNER BROS. HARRY POTTER STUDIO TOUR LONDON

So obviously I can't go to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour and not put a post up, I took too many photos that I can't not share them. I have already been to the studios before and this was my third time but I hadn't seen the train before so when my mum suggested we go I wasn't going to pass that offer up of course. We went up on the Wednesday morning quite early as it takes over 3 hours to get to the studios from my house in lovely Wales, but we did get there slightly early. We got there early enough to have a quick look in the gift shop first before we joined the horrendously long queue. If you haven't seen the gift shop before, let's just say it's pretty magical and you need to visit the studios purely for the gift shop!
Of course the rest of the studios are amazing as expected, and even my mum who hasn't watched the Harry Potter films and isn't a huge Harry Potter fan was still running around all excited to see how the films were made. I won't ruin it for those of you who haven't been but the first part of the tour is so exciting, I felt like such an over excited kid in my Gryffindor scarf waiting to go in. Yes that is right I wore my Gryffindor scarf that I bought the first time I went to the studios and how could I not?! I mean if I was willing to pay £80 for Ron's knitted 'R' initial jumper I'd be in that or completely kitted out in the Slytherin or Gryffindor uniform, cape and all.
My favourite part this time was definitely the train just because I'd never seen it before and it was all so magical, I didn't realise they'd actually created the whole of Platform 9 3/4! It was amazing and they even have an extra station gift shop. Just like the brooms and car there is an opportunity for photos but they do have the luggage trolleys half way through the wall where you can take your own photos. Of course there's already a miniature Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross Station in St Pancras if you can't get to the Warner Bros studios in Watford, which I have been to and of course have had a photo. They also have a gift shop where you can again buy ridiculous Harry Potter souvenirs that you don't need but convince yourself at the time that you do!
I had such a lovely day pretending to be a wizard and all, but honestly it's such an amazing place and makes a great day trip whether it's with family or friends. The only advice I would give is to book it way in advance because it's always busy and mostly fully booked. Of course before leaving I couldn't not treat myself to a few treats from the gift shop including a chocolate frog obviously. It's overwhelming how many sweets there are, it got to a point where I couldn't decide and sort of just chucked everything in my basket before realising that would be ridiculous to spend over £100 on sweets and chocolate, well according to my mother that is.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I'm now going to watch the entire Harry Potter films whilst stuffing my face with a chocolate frog, keep an eye out for a homeware post soon! If there's any posts you would like to see leave a comment down below.
