NEW HOMEWARE BITS

There's been a pile of new homeware bits sat in my room so I thought I'd take this opportunity to do a mini haul and actually tidy my room for once. I'm constantly looking at new homeware bits online and am always wanting to change my room up because I get bored of it so easily and Pinterest does not help because I always see these amazing interior ideas which only aids my homeware obsession. I picked up this gold pineapple dish from H&M who constantly have beautiful homeware pieces I'm wanting to get my hands on, I might be slightly over the copper obsession and am obsessed with gold homeware bits now. Although I'll most likely be purchasing something copper again sometime soon, preferably the beautiful copper pineapple from Oliver Bonas. I'm also in love with this Roses Diptyque candle that I got for my birthday, it smells so fresh and light and just fills my room with the lovely smell of roses.
I've been trying to change up my makeup storage and I'm still not sure if I'm happy with it, I store most of my high end makeup in these Muji draws and keep my everyday makeup in a set of Ikea draws at the side of my desk. I do like this set up but as my makeup collection grows because I have no will power, it's beginning to look cluttered but I do like having everything in arms reach. If any of you have any makeup storage tips, leave a comment down below!
There are always a few dozen magazines lying around my room so now they've just had to become a part of my room, they're mostly piled up on my shelves with cute jewellery dishes and candles placed on top. I'm constantly buying magazines and I like collecting the covers and of course they make great backgrounds for instagram and blog photos so I can never have too many! Hopefully by the time this goes up I will be on my way to London, where I can get my hands on a few magazines you can't get in your average paper shop. Last time I was there I went to Charlotte Street News in Soho and Selfridges who also sell magazines from so many different countries, my favourites that I picked up were Suitcase and Oyster and old favourites like the LOVE magazine. Magazine covers also make a great edition to your wall when they're framed and there's so many amazing covers to choose from, I love looking at vintage magazine covers compared to today's covers and seeing how they've changed over the years.
Another homeware bit that my room is completely filled with is cactuses which are obviously a blogger favourite, I don't think you can be a blogger and not love cactuses or marble for that matter. I love how textured they look and it's just nice to have some greenery in my room and somehow makes my room look less cluttered. Also cactuses are much easier to keep alive which is great for me seen as I'm useless at looking after any plant and completely forget that they need watering to stay alive! I usually just get my cactuses from Ikea, mainly because it seems like I can't walk out of there without one.

I hope you liked this post and it's about time this went up, I've linked everything that's still available below and if you have any homeware bits that you love leave a comment!

WARNER BROS. HARRY POTTER STUDIO TOUR LONDON

So obviously I can't go to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour and not put a post up, I took too many photos that I can't not share them. I have already been to the studios before and this was my third time but I hadn't seen the train before so when my mum suggested we go I wasn't going to pass that offer up of course. We went up on the Wednesday morning quite early as it takes over 3 hours to get to the studios from my house in lovely Wales, but we did get there slightly early. We got there early enough to have a quick look in the gift shop first before we joined the horrendously long queue. If you haven't seen the gift shop before, let's just say it's pretty magical and you need to visit the studios purely for the gift shop!
Of course the rest of the studios are amazing as expected, and even my mum who hasn't watched the Harry Potter films and isn't a huge Harry Potter fan was still running around all excited to see how the films were made. I won't ruin it for those of you who haven't been but the first part of the tour is so exciting, I felt like such an over excited kid in my Gryffindor scarf waiting to go in. Yes that is right I wore my Gryffindor scarf that I bought the first time I went to the studios and how could I not?! I mean if I was willing to pay £80 for Ron's knitted 'R' initial jumper I'd be in that or completely kitted out in the Slytherin or Gryffindor uniform, cape and all.
My favourite part this time was definitely the train just because I'd never seen it before and it was all so magical, I didn't realise they'd actually created the whole of Platform 9 3/4! It was amazing and they even have an extra station gift shop. Just like the brooms and car there is an opportunity for photos but they do have the luggage trolleys half way through the wall where you can take your own photos. Of course there's already a miniature Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross Station in St Pancras if you can't get to the Warner Bros studios in Watford, which I have been to and of course have had a photo. They also have a gift shop where you can again buy ridiculous Harry Potter souvenirs that you don't need but convince yourself at the time that you do!
I had such a lovely day pretending to be a wizard and all, but honestly it's such an amazing place and makes a great day trip whether it's with family or friends. The only advice I would give is to book it way in advance because it's always busy and mostly fully booked. Of course before leaving I couldn't not treat myself to a few treats from the gift shop including a chocolate frog obviously. It's overwhelming how many sweets there are, it got to a point where I couldn't decide and sort of just chucked everything in my basket before realising that would be ridiculous to spend over £100 on sweets and chocolate, well according to my mother that is.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I'm now going to watch the entire Harry Potter films whilst stuffing my face with a chocolate frog, keep an eye out for a homeware post soon! If there's any posts you would like to see leave a comment down below.
